Maryknoll ‘ohana joined over 600 educators and administrators from across Hawaii to celebrate faith, love, and educational excellence.
The conference was an inspiring and enriching experience for our community, offering workshops that delved into Social and Emotional Learning and Cognitive Diversity. These sessions provided valuable insights, equipping attendees with tools to foster a more inclusive and supportive educational environment.
The day commenced with a beautiful Mass at St. Patrick Church, setting a reflective and spiritual tone for the event. This was followed by a heartfelt Service Awards Ceremony, where we honored educators whose dedication has made a lasting impact on our students and school community.
We are especially proud to celebrate the achievements of two outstanding individuals. Nurse Marianne Guevara was recognized for her remarkable 20 years of unwavering commitment to ensuring the health and well-being of our students. Additionally, Dr. Fran Wong ‘69 received special recognition for an extraordinary 40 years of inspiring and educating young minds. Their dedication and passion truly embody our Maryknoll mission of educating in faith, with purpose, and in love.
As we reflect on this meaningful gathering, we are reminded of the importance of lifelong learning, gratitude, and the profound impact educators have on shaping future generations. We look forward to continuing this journey together, fostering a community rooted in faith, purpose, and love.
