Middle school has been an incredible time of growth and discovery for our son, Jacob '30, and Maryknoll has played such a big role in shaping this chapter of his life.
When our son, Jacob, '30, transitioned from a smaller school to Maryknoll, we were naturally concerned about how he would adjust to a larger campus, new teachers, and making new friends. Those worries disappeared almost instantly. From day one, the Maryknoll community embraced Ethan with open arms. His teachers, classmates, and even older students made him feel like he truly belonged, making the transition seamless and exciting.
Jacob has always been passionate about baseball and basketball and was thrilled to join Maryknoll's athletic programs. But what surprised us the most was how much he has grown in other areas. His love for God has deepened through Maryknoll's focus on faith and service. He even took it upon himself to mentor younger students, embodying the spirit of kindness and leadership we value so much.
Academically, Jacob has thrived in every subject, but he has discovered a new passion for Creative Media and Science. Whether exploring scientific concepts or creating digital projects showcasing his creativity, he has found joy and inspiration in learning. His teachers and coaches have been incredibly supportive, encouraging him to push his boundaries and discover new talents.
Maryknoll has not just been a school for Jacob—it's been a place where he's grown academically, spiritually, and personally. We are so grateful for the warm, welcoming environment that has allowed him to thrive and become the best version of himself.
