Thomas Broderick
Chair, Facilities Committee Chair
Tom grew up in Omaha, Nebraska and graduated from the University of Nebraska- Lincoln in 1980 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering. He started his professional career with Peter Kiewit Sons’ Inc. thereafter. Tom worked on a number of high-profile projects across the western United States before moving to Hawaii in 1990 to oversee Kiewit’s construction of the Inter-Island Terminal Complex, followed by several telescope projects on the summits of Mauna Kea and Haleakalā. Tom was promoted to area manager in 1995, overseeing Kiewit’s vertical construction operations in Hawaii. In 2007, Tom was promoted to Vice President of Kiewit Building Group Inc. and serves in the same capacity today. Tom and his wife Laurie have three children, Ashley, Amber, and Aaron. Ashley is currently a sophomore attending Syracuse University. Amber and Aaron attend Maryknoll High School and are in their senior and sophomore years, respectively. Tom serves as a Facility Committee Chairman for Maryknoll High School and is a Lector for Sacred Heart Church. He also has been a School Board Member for two years and a School Board Executive Committee member for one year.
